The Archer County Jr. Livestock Show is coming up January 6th and 7th!!!
Livestock ---
The show barn in Archer City will be open to animals on Thursday, January 5th, in the evening. Weigh in for animals is between 7 and 9 AM the following morning in the show barn. Classes will be divided up by weight after all weights have been taken and will be posted in the barn.
You must turn in your sale card(s) by noon on Saturday! If you do not, you will not be allowed in the auction that night, which starts at 7:00 PM. The order of the sale will be available around 6:00 PM Saturday night.
Home Economics Projects ---
Bring projects to the Activity Building between 9 and 11 AM Friday morning. The projects will be available for pickup around 4:30. If you enter photography, please leave your photo(s) at the building because they will be displayed during the buyer's dinner Saturday night.

Important Dates
Photography- There will be a workshop at Riverbend Nature Center it will be on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:00 . All 4-H members and Adults are invited to participate- Bring your camera. Please RSVP By Thursday the 18th to stacisbarn@gmail.com
FALL FESTIVAL- Saturday,October 20th from 3-8 there will be a fall festival held on the square in Archer City.

HALLOWEEN~ On October 31st , We will be meeting at the Extension Office at 6:30 pm to go TRICK-O-TREATING for Canned Goods .There will also be a party afterwards with plenty of candy& goodies!! We will also be awarding Prizes for the best costume in each age group!!
ROBOTICS PROJECT~~ There will be a training on Wednesday, October 31st (this is to train adults to teach you, this is not for kids yet!) All supplies will be provided,but you need to RSVP to Kathryn or Justin ASAP @ 574-4914.
WREATH SALES - It's that time again! This is our main fundraiser for the year. We use the proceeds of this to buy many presents for the Angel Tree, and also donate to other worthy causes in the area. ORDERS DUE NOVEMBER 9TH!!!! WILL BE DELIVERED THE WEEK AFTER THANKSGIVING.

If you are showing an animal it MUST be validated so you can show. Please let Justin know if you need an animal validated.
